Composite bows are bows made out of composite materials laminated together to give the bow more strenght and draw weight, these are usually re-curves only smaller. The compound bow is designed with a levering system using pulleys and cables to optimize the draw weight with shortest pulling distance possible, giving it a longer reaching distance with the least amount of draw.
